A new format retail store in the heart of Wellington’s CBD that was all about empowering New Zealanders to get more out of their technology.
An embodiment of Telecom’s vision and brand values, and representative of the brand’s future direction, the store concept was specifically designed to put customers at the heart of the experience. The new store format provides an interactive environment where customers can trial the latest and greatest products and technologies in the way that they intend to use them at home, in the office or out and about. It’s a hands-on environment, which means you can play with the latest laptops, check your Facebook on the hottest phone or learn how home connections would work for you.
The new direction was the result of a collaboration between Telecom Retail, Designworks and Gascoigne Associates. Designworks, responding to a brief to development a store experience that would challenge the conventions of 'phone retailing', led the strategy and early design concept phases, teaming up Gascoigne Associates on the detailed design development and implementation phases.
